Hello
I'm Sandi and am the owner of Wellness with Sandi. I want to share my journey with you. First of all, I am very passionate about what I do and love to help others feel their best. I believe that we are all on our own journeys and each of us is truly unique. What works for one person will not always work for another. I personally spend time each day on "maintenance" for my own health.
As I have grown up I've learned to recognize there certain things that I used to enjoy or crave no longer work for me. I live a holistic life by choosing to eat foods that are not processed, farm raised meat and dairy, and try to eat seasonally. However, there are times when it is not always possible to eat this way, such as traveling, etc. My exercise routines have evolved over the years but now I balance my post-menopause body by combining weight training with more calming yoga and days of cardio. I always give myself the grace to change things up if I've had a rough night sleep or if I am feeling energetic. So, this is how life goes. We never know from one day to the next what will change, or how we will be feeling. Being fluid with your lifestyle and letting go of things that are out of your control will help to maintain a calm nervous system.
It has taken many years for me to get to this point and let go of pressure to always be "perfect" in any areas of my life.
If you would like to discuss with me any challenges you may have in nutrition, movement (fitness) and lifestyle I am happy to listen to your story and see if there is any way I can help. We all face challenges in life and working through them can be hard. I'm here to help guide you to the other side where you will build resilience and have a stronger relationship with yourself.
At Wellness with Sandi we have a beautiful community and we all support one another. I am proud to have this group and we are very welcoming to new students. Reach out to me if you want to try a class - the first one is on me.
Namaste,
Sandi
If we find the resilience to make peace with the unknown, to not require every answer to keep moving forward, to believe that everything will work out one way or another - we begin to live more completely in the moment, releasing the illusions that had been clouding us all along.
